STEP 1. Make the circle shape for the wolf's head, then sketch in the upper part of the snout. Add the guideline for the face as well.
STEP 2. Using the guide you just made, sketch out the shape of the head structure as well as the snout, mouth and neck.
STEP 3. Begin sketching out the long soft flowing layers of hair from the wolf's thick coat. This will also shape out the ear too.
STEP 4. Up next, draw the nose, mouth lips, and then draw the closed eye. Add some chin hair as well.
STEP 5. Here you will lightly sketch in some soft shading to create a spirit like form. Add some soft spots around the wolf which will represent sparkles.
STEP 6. Here is what the finished line art for your wolf spirit. As you can see the shading is very light to have a translucent effect.
